This is Barki Badhal.
Barki Badhal is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line, it is about 44 km from Rawalpindi, 47 km from Dhudial, 54 km from the Islamabad airport, and 56 km from Chakwal city.
The wider Potohar plateau around the district is dry land cut by ravines. Farmers grow wheat and groundnut on land that depends on rain, and the Salt Range lies to the south. In this region many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The full story of Barki Badhal, its people and its daily life is still to be told by the villagers themselves.
