Basla, also spelt Wasla Bangial, Wasla Bangiāl or Wasla Bungial, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line, it is 34 km from Rawalpindi, 47 km from Islamabad airport, 57 km from Dhudial and 66 km from Chakwal city.
The land around the village is the Potohar plateau: dry, ravined ground where farming depends on rain. Wheat and groundnut are grown here, and the Salt Range lies to the south. Many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
