Straight-line distances from the village are about 22 km to Dhudial, 29 km to Chakwal city, and 48 km to the Katas Raj temples and to Choa Saidan Shah.

The village lies on the Potohar plateau, a dry land of ravines where farming depends on rain. Families grow wheat and groundnut, with the Salt Range rising to the south.
