Bhelowal, also spelt Bhilowal, is a village in District Chakwal in Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where wheat and groundnut are farmed, with the Salt Range to the south.
In a straight line, Dandot in the Salt Range is about 10 km away, while the Malot temple, the Katas Raj temples and Choa Saidan Shah are each around 16 to 17 km away. Across the plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
