Chak Sabz is a chak, a settlement that grew up in the canal era, in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies about 43 km in a straight line from Chakwal city, 33 km from Rawalpindi and 32 km from Islamabad airport, with Dhudial about 37 km away.
The land around it is the Potohar plateau: dry, ravined country where farmers grow wheat and groundnut on rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. Many families here have members serving in the army or working abroad, so the village has always had one foot at home and one far away.
