This is Chatal.

Chatal is a village in the Chak Malook union council of Chakwal Tehsil, in Chakwal District of Punjab, Pakistan. It lies about 9 km from Chakwal city on the Chakwal-Jhelum road, 6 km from Dhudial, 21 km from the Katas Raj temples and 22 km from Choa Saidan Shah.

The village sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where families grow wheat and groundnut, with the Salt Range rising to the south. Many families here have members serving in the army or working abroad, and the village is proud of them.

Children learn at Minhas Public Model School, a Government Girls Elementary School and a Government Primary School. The village's full story is still to be told by its own people, and we invite you to share it here.
