This is Chawali.
Chawali is a village in District Chakwal, in the Punjab region of Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and open fields where farming depends on rain. The Salt Range rises to the south.
Like many households in this part of Punjab, many families connected to Chawali have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The full story of Chawali, its people and its memories is still to be told. This page is an invitation to those who know it best to write it down.
Written from the district record. Chawali's own story, its families, its elders, its ground, is still to be told. The village captain or team can add it from their phone.
