Chawli, also spelt Chaweli, is a village in District Chakwal in Punjab, Pakistan. It lies at about 403 metres above sea level on the Potohar plateau, 18 km from Talagang, 29 km from Chakwal city, and about 30 km from Kallar Kahar lake and the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway.

Members of the Kassar tribe make up the bulk of the village's population. Chawli is one of a cluster of villages that includes Balkassar, Dhudial, Mangwal and Balokassar. The land is dry and cut by ravines, with the Salt Range to the south, and farming is rain-fed, with wheat and groundnut as the main crops. Across this part of the Potohar, many families have members in the army or working abroad.
