This is Chhabbar.
Chhabbar is a village in District Chakwal, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a dry land of ravines where farming depends on rain, and wheat and groundnut are grown here. To the south rise the Salt Range.
Chhabbar is about 14 km from Dhudial and 19 km from Chakwal city. The Katas Raj temples and Choa Saidan Shah are also around 19 km away, so the village is close to places many visitors know.
Many families here have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of Chhabbar, its people and its days is still to be told, and this page is a place for its own people to tell it.
