Dhok Awan is a dhok, a small farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It is also written as Dhok Bhusian or Dhok Bhusiān.

The village sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines where farming depends on the rain. Families here work the land, and the region grows wheat and groundnut. The Salt Range rises to the south. Across this plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
