This is Dhok Firoz.
Dhok Firoz is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, where the land is dry and cut by ravines, with the Salt Range to the south.
In a straight line, the village is about 48 km from Dhudial, 51 km from Rawalpindi, 57 km from Chakwal city and 60 km from Islamabad airport. Farming on the plateau is rain-fed, with wheat and groundnut grown across the region, and many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The full story of Dhok Firoz, its families and its traditions is still to be told by the people who live here and those who love it from afar. We invite you to add your memories to this page.
