As the crow flies, the village is about 11 km from Islamabad airport, 24 km from Rawalpindi, 56 km from Dhudial and 59 km from Chakwal city. Many families in this area have members serving in the army or working abroad, and the wider Potohar region is known for its wheat and groundnut farming.
