Dhok Goria is about 5 km from Talagang, 32 km from the M2 motorway at the Kallar Kahar interchange, 33 km from Kallar Kahar lake, and 44 km from Chakwal city. To the south rise the hills of the Salt Range. As in much of the Potohar, many families here have members serving in the army or working abroad.
