Dhok Las is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet, in District Chakwal in Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south.
It is about 40 km from Chakwal city, 34 km from Dhudial, and 37 km each from Rawalpindi and Islamabad airport, measured in a straight line.
The land around is known for wheat and groundnut farming, and across the plateau many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of Dhok Las, its families and its days, is still to be told by its own people.
