Dhok Musahib is a dhok, a small farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range rising to its south. From here, Lawa is about 21 km away, Talagang about 30 km, and the lake at Kallar Kahar and the M2 motorway interchange at Kallar Kahar are each about 57 km by straight line.

Like many places on the Potohar, the wider region is known for wheat and groundnut farming, and many families here have sons and relatives serving in the army or working abroad. The detailed story of Dhok Musahib, its families and its days, is still to be told, and it is for the people of this dhok to tell it in their own words.
