Dhok Panial is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It is also written as Dhok Panhalanwali. Talagang lies about 19 km away in a straight line, Lawa about 47 km, and the M2 motorway at the Kallar Kahar interchange about 49 km.

The village sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines where farming depends on rain. Wheat and groundnut are the main crops of the plateau, and the Salt Range rises to the south. Many families in this part of Potohar have members serving in the army or working abroad.

The village's own story, its families and its memories, is still to be told by the people who live here and by those who have gone away. This page is a place to begin that telling.
