Its location is best measured from the towns around it. Chakwal city and Talagang are each about 32 km away in a straight line, Dhudial about 36 km, and the Kallar Kahar lake about 42 km.

The hamlet sits on the Potohar plateau, a dry land of ravines where farming depends on rain, with wheat and groundnut grown across the plateau and the Salt Range rising to the south. Across this region many families have members serving in the army or working abroad, and many of our people will recognise that story.
