This is Dhok Parian.
Dhok Parian (also spelt Dhok Parianwali) is a dhok, a small farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a dry land of ravines where farming depends on rain, with wheat and groundnut grown in the fields and the Salt Range rising to the south.
The village is about 10 km in a straight line from Islamabad airport and 19 km from Rawalpindi, while Dhudial lies 57 km away and Chakwal city 61 km. Across the plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of Dhok Parian, its families and its history is still to be told by its own people.
