This is Dhok Qaderian.

Dhok Qaderian is a dhok, a small farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south.

In a straight line, the village is about 35 km from Rawalpindi, 43 km from Islamabad airport, 45 km from Dhudial and 53 km from Chakwal city. Life here is shaped by wheat and groundnut farming, and, as across much of this plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.

The fuller story of Dhok Qaderian, its families and its days is still to be told, and this page is an invitation to the people of the village to tell it themselves.

سیدھی لکیر کے فاصلے کے لحاظ سے یہ گاؤں راولپنڈی سے تقریباً 35 کلومیٹر، اسلام آباد ایئرپورٹ سے 43 کلومیٹر، دھدیال سے 45 کلومیٹر اور چکوال شہر سے 53 کلومیٹر دور ہے۔ گندم اور مونگ پھلی کی کاشت یہاں کی زندگی کا حصہ ہے۔ اس گاؤں کی پوری کہانی، یہاں کے گھرانے اور دن، ابھی اس کے اپنے لوگوں کی زبانی سنی جانی باقی ہے۔
