Dhok Sher Dastal is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. Talagang is about 25 km away and Lawa about 26 km. Kallar Kahar lake and the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway are each about 52 km away.
On the Potohar plateau, farming is mostly wheat and groundnut grown on rain-fed land. Many families in the area have members serving in the army or working abroad, which keeps this quiet place connected to the wider world.
