Dhok Sultalanwali is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet, in District Chakwal in Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. Farming across the plateau is rain-fed, and wheat and groundnut are the crops the region is known for.
The hamlet is about 15 km from Talagang, 35 km from Kallar Kahar lake and from the Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway, and 37 km from Lawa. Across the Potohar, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The sources available say little more about the village itself, so its own history, its people and its daily life are still to be told by the people who live here and by those who grew up here. This page is an invitation to add that story.
