Chakwal Village Platform

This is Dhok Trappar.

Dhok Trappar is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range rising to its south.

Talagang is about 28 km away and Lawa about 35 km. The Kallar Kahar interchange on the M2 motorway is around 58 km off, and the Kallar Kahar lake about 59 km.

Many families across this plateau have members in the army or working abroad. The story of Dhok Trappar itself, told by the people who live and have lived here, is still to be written.
