This is Diali.
Diali is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line, it lies about 48 km from Chakwal city, 38 km from Dhudial, 52 km from Choa Saidan Shah and 54 km from the Katas Raj temples.
The land around Diali is part of the Potohar plateau: dry, ravined ground where farming depends on rain. Families grow wheat and groundnut, and the Salt Range rises to the south. Many households have members serving in the army or working abroad.
This page is a starting point. The fuller story of Diali, its streets and its people, is still to be told, and we invite the villagers and their families abroad to tell it in their own words.
