Dora Budhal (also spelt Dora Badhal) is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south.
In a straight line, the village is 48 km from Chakwal city, 55 km from Rawalpindi, 39 km from Dhudial and 56 km from Choa Saidan Shah. Its farming is mainly wheat and groundnut, grown on rain-fed land.
Like much of the Potohar, many families here have members serving in the army or working abroad. The fuller story of this village, its families and its days is still to be told, and this page is open for its own people to tell it.
