Gurha Loharan, also spelt Gurha, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies about 14 km in a straight line from Rawalpindi, 27 km from Islamabad airport, 60 km from Dhudial and 67 km from Chakwal city, close to the big cities of the north while keeping its own rhythm.
The village is part of the wider Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. Wheat and groundnut farming are the common work of the land here, and many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
