This is Janga.
Janga is a village in District Chakwal, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where wheat and groundnut are grown. The Salt Range rises to its south.
Chakwal city is about 7 km away in a straight line, Dhudial about 14 km, and both the Kallar Kahar lake and the M2 motorway interchange at Kallar Kahar about 17 km. Across the plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad, and Janga is part of that story.
