Khalnan Wala, also written Biland Khan or Biland Khān, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south.

Local farming on the plateau centres on wheat and groundnut, and the land depends on the rain. In straight-line distance, Lawa is about 30 km away, Talagang 36 km, and both the Kallar Kahar lake and the M2 motorway's Kallar Kahar interchange about 45 km.

Across the Potohar plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. The village's own story, its families and its history, is still to be told by its people, and this page is an invitation to tell it.
