Kokan Jand, also spelt Kohan Jand, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range rising to the south. In a straight line, Dhudial is 45 km away, Rawalpindi 54 km, Chakwal city 55 km, and Choa Saidan Shah 63 km.
The plateau around the village is known for wheat and groundnut farming, and across the region many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. Those who grew up here, and those who now live far away, carry the village with them.
