Lowesar (also spelt Lohesar or Lowhesar) is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line it is about 15 km from Dhudial and 24 km from Chakwal city, and about 38 km from the Katas Raj temples and from Choa Saidan Shah.
The wider Potohar plateau around it is dry land cut by ravines, where farming depends on rain and families grow wheat and groundnut. The Salt Range lies to the south. Like many families in this region, many households have members serving in the army or working abroad.
