Mardial, also spelt Dhok Mardial or Dhok Mardiāl, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line it is about 48 km from Chakwal city, 51 km from Rawalpindi, 39 km from Dhudial and 58 km from Choa Saidan Shah.
The village lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. Wheat and groundnut are the crops of this wider region. Many families here have sons and daughters serving in the army or working abroad, and so the village is also woven into the lives of people far from home.
