Matho Khinger, also written Mothu Khingar, is a village in District Chakwal, in Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line it lies about 27 km from Rawalpindi, 40 km from the Islamabad airport, 57 km from Dhudial and 65 km from Chakwal city.
The village sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines where farming depends on the rain. Families grow wheat and groundnut, and the Salt Range rises to the south. As in many Potohar homes, many families here have members serving in the army or working abroad.
