This is Mehro Pilo.

Mehro Pilo is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan, also spelt Pelo and known in some places as Sardar Harrar Khan. It takes its name from Baba Peelo, a famous poet from Punjab, and it is a village with a historical identity of its own.

The Mughal Kassar tribe makes up the bulk of the village's population, including the Mehro sub-tribe known as Churhial, a name given by Ch Chourh Khan, a major landowner in Mehro. The majority of people here belong to the Qutab Shai Awan family.

The village lies about 18 km in a straight line from Chakwal city, 23 km from Dhudial, and 30 km from the M2 motorway at Kallar Kahar. Its land is part of the dry, ravined Potohar plateau, where wheat and groundnut are grown on rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. As in many Potohar families, some of its people serve in the army or work abroad. The full story of Mehro Pilo is still to be told by its own people.
