This is Mohra Fateh.
Mohra Fateh is a small hamlet in District Chakwal, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. In a straight line, Dhudial is about 36 km away, Rawalpindi 42 km, Chakwal city 45 km, and Islamabad airport 48 km.
Across this plateau, farming has long been tied to wheat and groundnut, and many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. Those who live far away still belong here.
The full story of Mohra Fateh, its families and its people is still to be told, and this page is open for its own people to tell it.
