In a straight line, the village is about 34 km from Dhudial and 43 km from Chakwal city. Choa Saidan Shah is about 52 km away, and the Katas Raj temples about 53 km. The land lies on the Potohar plateau, dry and cut by ravines, with rain-fed fields and the Salt Range to the south. Across the area, wheat and groundnut are the main crops, and many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
