This is New Jarmot.
New Jarmot is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the dry, ravined land of the Potohar plateau, where farming depends on rain and the Salt Range rises to the south. In straight-line distance, Dhudial is about 39 km away, Chakwal city 49 km, Choa Saidan Shah 54 km, and the Katas Raj temples 55 km.
Across this region, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. The full story of New Jarmot, its people and its days is still to be told, and this page is open for its own people to tell it.
