Pira, also known as Piranwali, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to its south. Farming here has long depended on the rains, with wheat and groundnut as the main crops.
