Pira Jangla (also spelt Pihra Jangla) is a village in District Chakwal, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, where the land is dry and cut by ravines, and Talagang is about 8 km away in a straight line.

Farming here has long depended on the rain. Fields on the plateau grow wheat and groundnut without irrigation, with the Salt Range rising to the south. As across the Potohar, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad, so this village is shared between those who live here and those who live far away.
