Potha, also spelt Pothah, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where families farm wheat and groundnut, with the Salt Range to the south.
In a straight line, Potha is about 42 km from Choa Saidan Shah and from the Malot temple, about 43 km from Dhudial, and about 44 km from the Katas Raj temples. Across this plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad. The village's own story is still to be told by its people.
