Rakh Darengan is a rakh, a grazing-reserve settlement in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It is a place defined by its open grazing land and the community that has grown up around it.
The land is dry and ravined, as across the Potohar plateau. Farming here depends on rain, and wheat and groundnut are grown. The Salt Range rises to the south.
