This is Sahal Khingar.
Sahal Khingar is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line, it is about 42 km from Dhudial, 52 km from Chakwal city, 56 km from Rawalpindi and 59 km from Choa Saidan Shah.
The village lies on the Potohar plateau, where the land is dry and cut by ravines. Families farm wheat and groundnut on rain-fed fields, and the Salt Range rises to the south. Many households have members serving in the army or working abroad, so the village's ties reach far beyond its fields.
The full story of Sahal Khingar, its families and its people is still to be told by the villagers themselves.
