Sangra is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to its south. Farmers here grow wheat and groundnut, and the fields depend on the rains.
The village is about 17 km in a straight line from Rawalpindi, 26 km from Islamabad airport, 55 km from Dhudial and 62 km from Chakwal city. Across this plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
