This is Shahbazpur.
Shahbazpur, also written Dhok Shahbazpur, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where wheat and groundnut are grown, with the Salt Range to the south.
In straight-line distance, Talagang is about 41 km away, Islamabad airport about 63 km, Chakwal city about 66 km, and Kallar Kahar lake about 68 km.
The fuller story of Shahbazpur, its families and its history is still to be told, and we invite its people, here and abroad, to tell it in their own words.
