This is Sheikhzada.
Sheikhzada is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It is also spelt Shekh Zada or Shekh Zāda. In a straight line, it is about 26 km from Rawalpindi, 27 km from Islamabad airport, 44 km from Dhudial, and 50 km from Chakwal city.
The village lies on the Potohar plateau, a dry land cut by ravines, where farming depends on rain. The Salt Range rises to the south. Across this plateau, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
The full story of Sheikhzada, its people, and its past is still to be told by those who live here and by those who carry the village with them overseas.
