This is Silri.

Silri is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies in the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravined ground and rain-fed fields where wheat and groundnut are farmed, with the Salt Range to the south. Lawa is 24 km away, Talagang 36 km, and the Kallar Kahar lake and the M2 motorway's Kallar Kahar interchange are each 49 km in a straight line.

Like many families in this area, households in Silri have members serving in the army or working abroad. This page is a place for our village's people, at home and overseas, to share Silri's story in their own words.
