This is Sukho.

Sukho is a village on the Potohar plateau of Punjab, Pakistan, a land of dry ravines, rain-fed wheat and groundnut fields, with the Salt Range to the south. It lies about 3.5 km south of the Sukho Mor stop on the Mandra-Chakwal Road, 12.5 km from Gujar Khan, and about 47 km in a straight line from Chakwal city.

The village has many schools, from a government primary school and government high schools for boys and girls to private institutions and a computer training institute. A Basic Health Unit on the north-west edge of town offers free basic care, including maternity services, alongside several private clinics. Kamal Laboratories, a local pharmaceutical enterprise, has been based here since 1967 and makes homeopathic medicines for Pakistan and for export.

As across much of the Potohar, many Sukho families have members serving in the army or working abroad. The village's own full story is still to be told by the people who live and have lived here.
