Tarazi Ghariba is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to its south.
The farmers of this land grow wheat and groundnut, and depend on the rains to bring their crops in. Like many families across this part of Punjab, households here have members serving in the army or working abroad, keeping the village connected to the wider world.
