Thalla, also spelt Dhok Thalla, is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. In a straight line, it is about 40 km from Dhudial and 43 km from Choa Saidan Shah. The Malot temple is about 43 km away, and the Katas Raj temples are about 45 km away.
The land around the village is the dry, ravined Potohar plateau, where farming depends on rain and families grow wheat and groundnut, with the Salt Range to the south. Across this land, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad.
