This is Banth.
Banth is a village in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It lies on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to its south. In a straight line, Rawalpindi is about 26 km away, Islamabad airport 38 km, Dhudial 55 km and Chakwal city 63 km.
Across the plateau, farming has long depended on rain, with wheat and groundnut among the crops grown. Many families here have members serving in the army or working abroad.
