Dhok Ganja is a dhok, a farmstead hamlet in District Chakwal, Punjab, Pakistan. It sits on the Potohar plateau, a land of dry ravined ground and rain-fed fields, with the Salt Range to the south. In a straight line, Rawalpindi is about 27 km away, Islamabad airport about 39 km, Dhudial about 54 km, and Chakwal city about 62 km.
Across the Potohar plateau, life has long been shaped by the land. Farmers grow wheat and groundnut without irrigation from rain alone, and many families in the region have members serving in the army or working abroad.
