This is Jasol.

Jasol is a village in District Chakwal, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. In a straight line, it lies about 27 km from Rawalpindi, 38 km from Islamabad airport, 54 km from Dhudial and 61 km from Chakwal city.

Jasol lies in the Potohar region, a land of dry ravines and rain-fed fields where farmers grow wheat and groundnut. The Salt Range rises to the south. Across this region, many families have members serving in the army or working abroad, and many of those far-off hearts still carry Jasol with them.

The full story of Jasol, its families and its past is still to be told, and it is for the people of Jasol to tell it in their own words.
